Barb had many problems with the teeth in her upper jaw, for which her dentist suggested implant treatment. The initial examination showed that she did not have enough bone to anchor dental implants. So to start with, Barbara had to have a bone transplant. “Everything went fine and when my jaw had healed, they went ahead with the installation of the implants. When the time came to make my new teeth, I made it clear that I didn’t want my teeth to look too perfect. I wanted the teeth to look natural for my age. The result was beyond my expectations! Today I don’t understand how I managed before. I would never dream of wearing a denture without implants again.

My name is Boris Borland, I live in Indianapolis, Indiana and my dentist is Dr. Vladimir Khantsis. In January, 2010 I went through surgery performed by Dr. Khantsis. He extracted one tooth, performed bone grafting procedure and installed an implant along with two more implants in place of missing teeth for a total of three implants – all in one session. The procedure was totally painless thanks to good anesthesia. I expected some pain afterwards and asked Dr. Khantsis for a pain-killer prescription. I was very glad to realize that even after the anesthesia was gone there was practically no pain and I did not have to use pain killers. The process of implants settling and gum healing went very smoothly, without any complications, which was confirmed by Dr. Khantsis with a couple of follow-up appointments. During the most recent appointment two days ago, a half year after the surgery, I was happy to hear from Dr. Khantsis that my implants are ready for the last stage-putting the makeup teeth with crowns. Overall I’m happy with the work that Dr. Khantsis has done for me.
